WHY DOES IT COST SO MUCH TO SHIP ARTWORK?

We do not make any money on shipping. The cost of shipping quoted is our bare minimum cost based on our reduced small business rate to pack and ship your artwork with tracking from our studio in Orange County, CA to your doorstep. Often, our cost is higher. We never bury the cost of shipping in the product.

WHAT SIZE INSERTS ARE INCLUDED WITH MY PILLOW PURCHASE?

All BIRD + BELLE pillows ship with insert. We do not sell our pillows without an insert. As a general rule, we size up 2-3" for feather/down inserts on all regular size pillows to achieve a fuller look.  For most lumbar sizes, we size up 1-2" for length/width.  

HOW QUICKLY WILL I RECEIVE MY ITEM?

We quote our made to order art production times at 2-3 weeks from order date.  You will be notified once your item has shipped. All orders are shipped from Orange County, CA via UPS ground service. Coast to coast, domestic US orders can take up to 4-5 days. Tracking will be made available for all orders.

I DIDN'T RECEIVE MY ORDER. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Contact us at orders@birdbelleshop.com so we can track your order for you. Please be sure you are correctly listing your shipping address at check out. Orders shipped to an incorrectly listed address will not be refunded.  

DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?

If you are not satisfied with your order, please contact us at returns@birdbelleshop.com within 3 days of order receipt for return approval. Please do not automatically ship the item back. All artwork is final sale. For other items sold through our website, buyers are responsible for paying return shipping and only unused items returned in their original condition will be accepted for return.  If your return is approved, you will receive a refund to your original form of payment. Please note that bank processing times may take up to 3-5 business days.

 

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

Unfortunately, we do not accept cancellations on orders already in progress.

 

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

At this time, we do not ship outside the domestic US.

 

HOW ARE YOUR PILLOW COVERS SIZED?

All pillow covers are listed with measurements sized center to center (measured outside the unfilled cover center seam to center seam).  The edges are tapered a half inch on each corner for a professional fit.

 

HOW DO I CLEAN MY PILLOW?

We recommend only professional cleaning for all textiles and pillows purchased at Bird + Belle. Vintage textiles have been laundered prior to pillow creation. However, the backing linen has not been pre-washed.  There is a potential for shrinkage and color bleed onto the backing fabric if they are not professionally cleaned.

 

WILL THE INDIGO TEXTILES BLEED ONTO MY OTHER FURNITURE?

While these textiles have been pre-laundered / treated to prevent bleeding, care should always be taken to ensure the natural indigo dyes do not impact furniture. We recommend testing a discreet area. 

 

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WITH THE VINTAGE TEXTILES USED IN ARTWORK AND PILLOWS FROM BIRD + BELLE?

Buyers should expect imperfections reflective of the handmade nature and age of these beautiful, one of a kind pieces. These may include unique stains or markings, snags, fraying, holes, un-repaired tears, fading, worn or thinning areas and/or hand-stitched repairs that have been made with various color threads. The textiles were selected with these conditions for their particular character and as such should not be considered defective. 

 

DO YOU OFFER CUSTOM SIZES?

At this time, custom pillow sizes are not available. Future offerings will be announced in the shop.
